Mitochondria and Their Critical Role in Autism and Related Disorders
Everyone with chronic health issues, including those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), suffers from some level of mitochondria dysfunction. Healthy mitochondria produce the critical energy (ATP) inside our cells that is needed for our bodies and brains to function optimally.
Mito dysfunction is also associated with neurodegenerative, autoimmune, psychiatric and G.I. disorders, chronic fatigue and cancer. Symptoms can include low muscle tone and weakness, fatigue, brain fog, seizures, mood disorders and more.
This webinar will discuss the research, factors that negatively impact the mitochondria, how to diagnose, treat and support optimal mitochondrial functioning.
